Now cut your hair in straight manner. The cut is dependent on the thickness of hair and you might need second cut. Thus, cut horizontally but on a straight position.

If you have cut three inch from top of head, the measurement of top layer will be by three inches thereby making neckline layer by nine inches. The other layer will be between three to nine inches.
